Failed to Initialize Registry Root Hive

I recently have Visual Studio 2022 installed and had used it for approximately 2 weeks. Today in all of a sudden when I tried to start Visual Studio, it showed up a error and told me to go look at the ActivityLog.xml:

I have looked at similar posts about this issue and I have not yet to find a solution. I tried reinstalling Visual Studio and disabled every anti-virus software I have on my computer and I've tried running the program in Administrator mode but nothing has worked out so far.

    I checked the activity log at it says Failed to initialize Registry Root Hive and Failed Calling InitializeAppID

    I managed to solve it, it may not be the solution for everyone, but if you also experience issues with other Windows components, it will probably work.

    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Control and change RegistrySizeLimit to 0. Remove privateregistry.bin from %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio<YourVersion>. If it already is at 0, yet the problem still occurs (or changing it to 0 doesn't help), change it to 0xFFFFFF

    Somehow something changed that registry entry which caused issues on my whole system that I couldn't solve.

    If you experienced problems like Windows not remembering your folder settings (icon size, sorting preference) or other small issues, on top of having this Visual Studio error, then most probably the issue was your registry hive exceeding RegistrySizeLimit.

    If your Visual Studio still crashes after this, remove pkgdef files from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Community\Common7\IDE\Extensions
