Hello, I am configuring Azure Site Recovery and our environment uses a 3rd party Antivirus program. I found this little nugget from the following url...

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/vmware-physical-mobility-service-overview#antivirus-on-replicated-machines

User's image

I've installed version 9.61.7055 of the mobility service on a few VMs now and the folder path "C:\ProgramData\ASR" does not exist. Is there updated Antivirus exclusion information that someone else can direct me to please? I assume this is out of date documentation.

Regards,
Adam Tyler

Hello @AdamTyler-3590 Thank you for contacting us. Happy to assist! You are correct that the documentation you found is out of date. The C:\ProgramData\ASR folder is no longer used by the Mobility Service, and the folder exclusions for antivirus software have changed. You should follow this document for Azure Site Recovery Anti-Virus exclusions - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/site-recovery/getting-started/asr-recommended-antivirus-exclusions

C:\ProgramData\- This would be hidden generally.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
