Hello Intune Pro,

My current customer has an existing Intune Tenant, as below (some details cleaned for privacy):

User's image

The enrolled devices are:

  • 67 Windows devices
  • 250 iOS/iPadOS devices
  • 1001 Android.

They want to Change the MFM authority to Configuration Manager MDM Authority. two to three questions:

  1. Is it possible in this state to change the MDM Authority?
    1. If not, then what are exactly the road blockers?
  2. If yes, then How can we change it?

Thanks,

@JMN-2253, Thanks for posting in Q&A. Based on my researching, "Configuration Manager MDM Authority" under MDM Authority once known as Hybrid MDM has been depreciated as of Sept 1, 2019. And we can't switch the MDM authority from Intune to Configuration Manager MDM Authority.

If you want to concurrently manage Windows 10 or later devices by using both Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune, you can use co-management. Here is a link with more details for your reference:

Hope the above information can help.
